For mountain bike enthusiasts, the mountain bike routes on the Fanningberg are ideal. The cycle path network in the UNESCO Biosphere Park is well signposted and offers something for everyone.

For athletes there is the “Lungau Extreme” mountain bike tour, for connoisseurs the Mitterbergrunde leads through flat terrain, for the all-rounder there are various other routes in the ten side valleys of the Lungau with some amazing and special nature experiences. In the hiking area of the biosphere park there are well-marked hiking routes with a length of over 500 km. A trip to one of the 60 crystal-clear mountain lakes or to one of the numerous alpine huts and refuge huts is always a great experience for the whole family.
